This mountain running event in Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana features a short (1.8km) but highly demanding uphill course (360m of elevation gain).
Starting at the foot of Šmarna gora (pictured), the route runs on steep hiking trails up to the finish line at the monastery that stands on top of the hill (669m).
The women's race kicks off at 6pm, the men's race half an hour later.
The course records are held by the world-class mountain runners Azerya Teklay of Eritrea (11 minutes 11 seconds) and Mateja Kosovelj of Slovenia (13 minutes 18 seconds). The time limit to finish the race is 30 minutes.
