"Winter 10Ks" 2012 - 1st Race

Runners in Central Europe can look forward to two new road running races, to be held on 21 January and 25 February 2012 in Slovakia's capital city Bratislava.

Participants in the Zimné desiatky ("Winter 10Ks") will run a 10.3-kilometre loop along both banks of the River Danube and across two huge Danube bridges.

The start and finish will be at the Eurovea shopping and entertainment centre, situated about 1.5 kilometres to the east of Bratislava's old town.

Organized by the Bratislava Marathon, the races will probably attract several hundred runners.

Race centre: Nike Eurovea, Pribinova Street (19 Jan and 20 Jan 2012, 14.00-20.00; on the day 8.00-9.30)

You get: gloves or a cap; timing chip rental; refreshments

Prizes: product prizes to the first 3 M/F; product prizes to the first M/F in the Zimnej Tour ("Winter Tour": combined ranking of both races)
